第1世代のVision SF50は2016年10月にFAAの型式証明を取得し、同年12月から、生産中の唯一の認証済み単発民間ジェットとして納入されました。主にカーボン複合材で造られ、V字尾翼と機体全体を降ろすパラシュートを備え、28,000 ftまでの運用が認められ、巡航速度は300 ktでした。この設計は2017年のCollier Trophyを受賞し、2019年にG2に置き換えられました。
