Revealed in May 2018 and delivered from that August, the HondaJet Elite added an auxiliary fuel tank and aerodynamic refinements that raised NBAA IFR range by 214 nm to 1,437 nm with four occupants. Increased elevator authority cut the takeoff distance by about 500 ft to 3,491 ft, and payload rose by more than 200 lb through a lower empty weight and higher MTOW. The Elite S replaced it in 2021.
