Charter guide

A practical way to prepare your trip and understand a proposal before you book.

1. Your itinerary

List each departure and arrival city or airport, travel date, passenger count and preferred departure time. Use the local time at each departure airport. Include arrival deadlines and any flexibility.

2. Choosing an aircraft

Compare seats, cabin space, luggage capacity and range. Published specifications help narrow the choices; the operator must confirm the offered aircraft, cabin layout and suitability for your itinerary.

3. Understanding the price

Use our route estimates as a planning reference. For a proposal, ask for the total price, currency, taxes, positioning, airport and handling charges, crew expenses and any items billed separately, such as de-icing or special catering.

4. Before you book

Confirm the company you are contracting with and the actual air operator, its authorisation for the flight, the proposed aircraft and insurance information. Check the proposal validity, payment schedule, beneficiary details and booking confirmation process directly with the provider.

5. Changes and cancellations

Ask for written terms covering your cancellation, schedule changes, aircraft substitutions, delays and operator cancellations, including refunds and any non-refundable amounts. Terms vary by provider and trip; there is no single cancellation policy for all charter flights.

6. Passengers and travel documents

Ask the provider what passenger information and travel documents are needed, and when. Check entry requirements for your itinerary. At the inquiry stage, share only the itinerary and relevant preferences; do not upload passports, identity documents or payment details.
