How we estimate
We start from about 3,878,336 business-jet flights a year worldwide (2025), split by region, spread over the day with a typical local departure pattern, adjusted for weekday and season, and keep each flight in the air for about 1.6 hours on average.

It is a model, so treat it as “about right”, not a count.
How we protect privacy
- Only totals and counts per area are shown — never a registration, callsign, owner or flight path.
- Everything is at least 30 minutes old when it appears here.
- Areas and aircraft types with fewer than three jets are not shown.
- Aircraft whose owners asked not to be displayed (the FAA’s LADD and PIA programmes) and military aircraft are removed before counting.
- You can’t search for or follow any aircraft here, and famous-jet pages are never linked to this data.
