Jet card hourly rates fall to lowest average since 2023
North American jet card rates fell to $10,958 per hour in Q3, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons data reported by AIN. The average was down 3.1% from Q2 and 2.7% from a year earlier.
- $10,958 average hourly jet card rate in Q3 2026
- Rates down 3.1% from Q2 2026
- Rates down 2.7% year over year
- Turboprop rates fell 19.9% quarter over quarter to $5,022
- Average rates remain 23.7% above pre-pandemic levels
Private jet card pricing cooled again in the third quarter. AIN reported that North American jet card rates averaged $10,958 per hour, based on published entry-level card prices tracked by Private Jet Card Comparisons.
The average was 3.1% lower than the previous quarter and 2.7% below last year. Turboprops moved the most, dropping 19.9% from Q2 to $5,022 per hour, partly because OneFlight paused operations and PlaneSense sold out its Pilatus PC-12 card.
The decline does not mean private flying is cheap. Rates are still 23.7% above pre-pandemic levels, and daily minimums rose to 95 minutes. For short hops, that higher minimum can cancel out part of the headline hourly-rate drop.
