Pilatus Aircraft
Pilatus was founded in 1939 in Stans, Switzerland, and built its reputation on rugged utility aircraft such as the PC-6 Porter before the PC-12 single-engine turboprop became the best-selling aircraft in its class. The PC-24 'Super Versatile Jet', introduced in 2018, is the only business jet certified for unpaved runways and now accounts for around 50 deliveries a year. Privately held and vertically integrated, Pilatus delivered 147 PC-12s and PC-24s in 2024 and operates a growing completion and service center in Broomfield, Colorado.
