Honeywell sees nearly 10,000 new business jets in 10 years

Honeywell’s 2026 outlook forecasts 9,950 business jet deliveries and 4,200 turboprops over the next decade. The company says total business aircraft deliveries could top 14,000 when newly included segments are counted.

  • Report: Honeywell 35th Global Business Aviation Outlook
  • Forecast period: 2026 to 2035
  • Business jets: 9,950 deliveries forecast
  • Turboprops: 4,200 deliveries forecast
  • 2035 pace: more than 1,500 aircraft per year

Honeywell’s latest business aviation forecast is bigger in scope than past versions because it now includes personal jets and business turboprops. The result is a 10-year outlook for about 14,000 business aircraft deliveries in total.

The jet number is 9,950, up 4.4% from last year’s outlook, plus 4,200 turboprops. Honeywell expects 1,280 new-production aircraft deliveries in 2026, rising to more than 1,500 a year by 2035, with annual value around $37 billion.

The forecast matters because suppliers, charter firms, fractional operators and airports use these numbers to plan staffing, maintenance, hangars and capital spending. It also points to a market where aircraft use may keep rising faster than fleet size, because charter and fractional aircraft tend to fly more hours than privately held jets.
