SyberJet opens SJ34 and SJ36 reservations at NBAA-BACE
SyberJet said SJ34 deliveries are targeted for 2029 and showed a full-scale SJ36 mockup in Las Vegas. The company listed launch pricing of $10 million for the SJ34 and $14 million for the SJ36 under its early-owner program.
- SJ34 deliveries targeted for 2029
- SJ36 deliveries targeted for 2032
- SJ34 projected range up to 2,500 nautical miles
- SJ36 projected range above 3,000 nautical miles
- Passage One limited to first 250 customers
SyberJet used NBAA-BACE week to reopen the story of the SJ30 line with two new variants: the SJ34 and the larger SJ36. The company says the SJ34 will update the FAA-certified SJ30-2 with new avionics, larger Williams engines and a redesigned cabin.
The planned seven-seat SJ34 is priced at $12 million, with a $10 million launch price under the Passage One program. The nine-seat SJ36 is listed at $16 million, or $14 million for early customers, and is aimed at more than 3,000 nautical miles of range.
The caveat is important: these are targets, not certified performance figures. Still, the story is worth watching because a fast, single-pilot light jet with long range would be an unusual product if SyberJet can get it certified, built and supported.
