Embraer’s private-jet backlog hits a record $8.2 billion

  • $8.2 billion executive aviation backlog at end-3Q26
  • 12% year-on-year backlog growth
  • 115 executive jets delivered in the first nine months of 2026
  • 41 executive jets delivered in 3Q26
  • 69 Executive Care contracts signed, worth about $53 million

Embraer reported a record executive aviation backlog of $8.2 billion for the third quarter of 2026, as demand for its Phenom and Praetor families kept running ahead of deliveries. The company said the executive jet book-to-bill ratio was 1.4x over the past 12 months.

The delivery mix in the quarter was 22 small jets and 19 medium jets. The Phenom 300 led the small-jet side with 20 deliveries, while the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 accounted for 19 medium-jet deliveries between them.

The numbers matter because Embraer is no longer just the strong light-jet player. Its Praetor line is giving it scale in midsize and super-midsize cabins, while the new Phenom 300EV keeps the company’s best-known business jet fresh.
