Epic Aircraft

Epic Aircraft, founded in 2004 in Bend, Oregon, developed the Epic LT kit turboprop before taking the design through certification as the E1000, a six-seat single-engine turboprop built almost entirely of carbon fibre. The E1000 received its FAA type certificate in November 2019 and a production certificate in July 2020, and the E1000 GX was followed in 2025 by the E1000 AX with Garmin autothrottle, with Autoland approval expected later. The company delivered 26 aircraft in 2024 and its 100th certified E1000 in September 2025.
