Epic Aircraft E1000 AX

Unveiled at Sun 'n Fun in April 2025 and FAA certified on 21 July 2025, the E1000 AX adds Garmin autothrottle to Epic's carbon-fibre turboprop, with Garmin Autoland to follow, along with more than 25 other changes including an automatic yaw damper, electronic brake hold and lithium-ion batteries. Speed and range are unchanged at 333 knots and 1,560 nm, full-fuel payload rises to 1,177 lb, and Autoland approval was expected in 2026.
