The King Air 360ER is the extended-range, higher-weight version of the King Air 360, carrying 5,192 lb of usable fuel at a 16,500 lb takeoff weight for a maximum range of 2,690 nm. Certified in October 2020 alongside the 360 and succeeding the 350ER, it is used for special missions such as surveillance, medevac and flight inspection as well as corporate transport.
Unveiled in February 2024 and FAA certified within weeks, the M700 Fury replaced the M600/SLS with a 700-shp PT6A-52 and a five-blade propeller, raising maximum cruise to 301 knots and cutting takeoff distance over a 50 ft obstacle to 1,994 ft. It retains the Garmin G3000 and HALO Autoland, the first production example was the 1,000th PA-46 built, and unpaved-runway approval followed in August 2024.
The PC-12 NG, certificated as the PC-12/47E, was launched at NBAA 2007 with a more powerful PT6A-67P engine and a four-screen Honeywell Primus Apex flight deck, raising maximum cruise to 280 knots. It kept the type's forward airstair and large aft cargo door, and about 942 were built between 2008 and 2020, when the PC-12 NGX replaced it.
The King Air 360 is the latest evolution of the King Air 350 line, adding autothrottles, a digital pressurization controller and a refined cabin to the world's most popular twin turboprop. It carries up to nine passengers 1,806 nm at 312 knots and serves corporate, air-ambulance and special-mission roles worldwide.
The King Air 350 lengthened the King Air 300 fuselage and added winglets when it was introduced in 1990, becoming the largest model in the King Air family. The 350i, delivered from December 2009, brought a quieter cabin, a new cabin-management system and later Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics; it was succeeded by the King Air 360 in 2020.
The PC-12 NGX is the third generation of the world's best-selling single-engine turboprop, introducing the electronically controlled PT6E-67XP engine, a single-lever power control and a redesigned cabin with larger windows. With around 2,000 PC-12s delivered since 1994, the NGX continues to dominate the market for versatile, short-field-capable executive and utility aircraft.
The PC-12 PRO, certificated as the PC-12/47G and announced in March 2025, succeeded the PC-12 NGX with a Garmin G3000 PRIME-based flight deck, PC-24-style control yokes and Garmin Autoland. It keeps the NGX's electronically controlled PT6E-67XP engine, autothrottle, 290-knot cruise and large aft cargo door, and the first customer delivery took place in September 2025.
The TBM 960 is the fastest single-engine turboprop in production, cruising at 330 knots with a digitally controlled PT6E-66XT engine, a five-blade composite propeller and Garmin G3000 avionics with HomeSafe emergency autoland. Daher builds roughly 55 TBMs a year at Tarbes, and the 960 is the pinnacle of a family that has delivered more than 1,200 aircraft.
Introduced in March 2014, the TBM 900 reworked the TBM 850 with winglets, a redesigned engine air intake and a standard five-blade Hartzell composite propeller. The changes raised maximum cruise to 330 knots at FL280 and shortened the takeoff roll by about 20 percent, while range reached 1,730 nm at economy cruise. It was built until 2016 and was followed by the TBM 910 and 930.
The TBM 930, introduced in April 2016, combined the TBM 900 airframe and PT6A-66D engine with Garmin's G3000 touchscreen flight deck and an upgraded interior. It offered the same 330-knot cruise and 1,730 nm range and was sold alongside the G1000-equipped models, with 74 built before the TBM 940 replaced it in 2019.
The TBM 910 replaced the TBM 900 as Daher's G1000-equipped model in April 2017, adding Garmin's faster G1000 NXi flight deck, redesigned seats and an optional privacy compartment for the lavatory seat. It shares the 900-series airframe, 850-shp PT6A-66D and 330-knot cruise, and it was still offered alongside the TBM 960 in 2023 at an equipped price of about $4.55 million.
Introduced in March 2019 and certified by EASA that May, the TBM 940 replaced the 930 with an autothrottle, automatic ice detection and protection, and a redesigned cabin, and Garmin's HomeSafe emergency autoland later became available. It kept the 850-shp PT6A-66D, G3000 avionics and 330-knot cruise, and was succeeded by the TBM 960 in 2022.
Unveiled on 15 January 2026, the TBM 980 is the sixth TBM 900-series model and the first with Garmin's G3000 PRIME flight deck, using three 14-inch edge-to-edge touchscreens. It shares the TBM 960's airframe, PT6E-66XT engine, five-blade propeller and HomeSafe autoland, adds Starlink Mini and USB-C provisions in the cabin, and was priced at $5.82 million.
The King Air 260 modernizes the King Air 250 with the same autothrottle and digital pressurization upgrades as the 360, plus a Pro Line Fusion cockpit with multi-scan weather radar. Its 1,720 nm range and 2,110 ft takeoff distance make it a versatile short-runway performer for owner-flown and corporate operations.
The Avanti EVO is the latest version of Piaggio's three-lifting-surface pusher turboprop, the fastest in the world at 402 knots with a stand-up cabin as wide as a midsize jet's. The EVO added winglets, redesigned nacelles and quieter scimitar propellers, and Piaggio has resumed marketing the type after its 2025 acquisition by Turkey's Baykar.
The King Air 250 updated the B200GT with composite propellers, winglets and a ram-air recovery system that preserves engine performance, cutting takeoff distance to 2,111 ft at maximum weight. Introduced in 2011 and later fitted with Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics, it was replaced by the King Air 260 in 2021.
The Beechcraft Denali is a clean-sheet single-engine turboprop designed to challenge the Pilatus PC-12, built around the new GE Aerospace Catalyst engine with full digital engine control and a flat-floor cabin wider than its rival's. The Catalyst was certified in 2025, and Textron expects to complete flight testing in late 2026 with entry into service in 2027.
The E1000 GX is the production version of Epic Aircraft's six-seat carbon-fibre turboprop, which received FAA type certification in November 2019 and a production certificate in July 2020. A 1,200-shp PT6A-67A gives a 333-knot maximum cruise and a 34,000 ft ceiling, and flight-into-known-icing approval followed in December 2023. It was superseded by the E1000 AX in July 2025.
Unveiled at Sun 'n Fun in April 2025 and FAA certified on 21 July 2025, the E1000 AX adds Garmin autothrottle to Epic's carbon-fibre turboprop, with Garmin Autoland to follow, along with more than 25 other changes including an automatic yaw damper, electronic brake hold and lithium-ion batteries. Speed and range are unchanged at 333 knots and 1,560 nm, full-fuel payload rises to 1,177 lb, and Autoland approval was expected in 2026.
The Super King Air 200 introduced the T-tail and PT6A-41 engines to the King Air line in 1974, and the B200 followed in 1981 with PT6A-42 engines and a higher 6.5 psi cabin pressure differential. More than 2,000 Model 200s and B200s were built, and many serve as air ambulances and as military C-12 transports.
The TBM 850, first known as the TBM 700N, fitted the TBM airframe with a PT6A-66D engine rated at 850 hp in flight (700 hp for takeoff), raising maximum cruise to 320 knots. Later aircraft gained a Garmin G1000 flight deck and larger fuel tanks, and an Elite version with four forward-facing seats freed cargo space. Daher built 338 between 2006 and 2013 before the TBM 900 replaced it.
Introduced in 2015 and FAA certified in June 2016, the M600 developed Piper's M500 with a new wing, 260 gallons of fuel and a 600-shp PT6A-42A, giving a 274-knot cruise and a 1,484 nm NBAA IFR range. The M600/SLS version added the HALO safety system with Garmin Autoland from 2020, and the M700 Fury replaced it in 2024.
The Avanti II, first delivered in 2005, updated Piaggio's three-lifting-surface pusher turboprop with PT6A-66B engines that hold their 850 shp rating to higher altitudes and a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 flight deck. It cruises at about 400 knots and maintains a 6,600 ft cabin at FL410, and 129 were built before the Avanti EVO replaced it in 2014.
The King Air C90GTx was the final development of the King Air 90 line, adding composite winglets and a higher 10,485 lb takeoff weight to the C90GTi when it was certified in 2010. Powered by two 550 shp PT6A-135A engines and later fitted with Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics, it was built until March 2021.
The Kodiak 100 is a single-engine utility turboprop designed by Quest Aircraft in Sandpoint, Idaho, certified by the FAA in May 2007 and first delivered in January 2008. Daher acquired the programme in 2019, and the current Series III adds Garmin G1000 NXi avionics with synthetic vision and an optional eight-seat executive cabin. Its 750-hp PT6A-34 and high-lift wing give a takeoff ground roll of about 934 ft.
The Kodiak 900 stretches the rugged Kodiak 100 utility turboprop by nearly four feet, adds a more powerful PT6A-140A engine and aerodynamic fairings, and lifts cruise speed to 210 knots. It retains the type's exceptional short-field and unpaved-strip capability, positioning it as an executive-capable backcountry aircraft for owners who value versatility over speed.
