Textron delivers 51 Citation jets as quarterly revenue rises 14%

Textron Aviation reported $1.7 billion in third-quarter revenue, helped by 51 Cessna Citation jet deliveries. The total was nine more jets than in the same quarter of 2025.

  • Published: October 30, 2026
  • Q3 2026 revenue: $1.7 billion, up 14%
  • Jet deliveries: 51 Citations, up from 42 a year earlier
  • Backlog: $8 billion at quarter-end
  • Nine-month jet deliveries: 128, versus 122 in 2025

Textron Aviation had a stronger third quarter as more Citation jets left the factory. Revenue rose to $1.7 billion, while segment profit reached $179 million.

The delivery mix included 11 Citation Latitudes, 10 M2 Gen2s, nine CJ3+/CJ3 Gen2s, nine Longitudes, seven CJ4 Gen2s and five Ascends. Aftermarket parts and services also grew, reaching $652 million by the end of the quarter.

The big message is that demand is still there, but production remains the hard part. Textron pointed to engines, spars, extrusions and ground power units as pressure points, which is a familiar story across business aviation.
