Textron Aviation was formed in 2014 by combining Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker under Textron Inc., uniting brands whose histories reach back to 1927 and 1932. It is the world's highest-volume business aircraft manufacturer, producing the Citation jet family from the M2 Gen2 to the Longitude alongside the King Air turboprop line. In 2024 the company delivered 151 Citations and roughly 80 King Airs, and it is currently introducing the Citation Ascend, CJ3 Gen2 and the clean-sheet Beechcraft Denali turboprop.
