Piper Aircraft

Piper Aircraft traces its origins to the Taylor Brothers Aircraft company founded in 1927 in Rochester, New York, and is now based in Vero Beach, Florida, under the ownership of Brunei's Ministry of Finance. Best known for trainers and piston singles, it also builds the pressurized PA-46 M-Class, whose turboprop versions progressed from the Malibu Meridian (now M500) to the M600 in 2016 and the 301-knot M700 Fury in 2024. The M700 was FAA certified in early 2024 and approved for unpaved runways later that year.
