The BBJ 787-8 is the ultimate long-haul private aircraft, a Dreamliner with a 9,945 nm range that can connect virtually any two cities on earth non-stop. Its composite fuselage allows a 6,000 ft cabin altitude and higher humidity, and completed examples feature full bedrooms, offices and lounges for heads of state and ultra-high-net-worth owners.
The BBJ 737-7 is the longest-range member of the BBJ MAX family, pairing the smallest MAX fuselage with auxiliary tanks for a 7,000 nm reach. Deliveries await certification of the 737-7 airliner, which has been repeatedly delayed by engine anti-ice and other issues, so first customer aircraft are now expected no earlier than 2027.
The ACJ319neo applies the A320neo family's new engines and Sharklets to the corporate A319, with up to five additional center tanks giving a 6,750 nm range for eight passengers. It offers the widest cabin of any purpose-designed bizliner in its size class and the flexibility of a certified airliner, and completions are typically handled by specialists such as Comlux or Fokker Techniek.
The BBJ 737-8 was the first BBJ MAX to enter service, delivered green from Seattle in 2018 and completed by specialists such as Jet Aviation and Greenpoint. It offers a 98 ft cabin and 6,640 nm range with 25 passengers, and its LEAP-1B engines and Advanced Technology winglets cut fuel burn by around 14 percent versus the previous BBJ2.
The ACJ320neo is the larger of Airbus's single-aisle corporate jets, with a 90 ft cabin that can be configured for 25 VIP passengers or up to 50 in high-density government layouts. Its 6,000 nm range and cabin altitude of 6,400 ft suit heads of state and large corporate groups, and the first example was delivered to Acropolis Aviation in early 2019.
The ACJ TwoTwenty is Airbus's 'Xtra Large Bizjet', an A220-100 fitted with five additional fuel tanks for a 5,650 nm range and marketed against the Global 7500 and G700 with three times their cabin volume. Comlux completes the interiors in Indianapolis, and the first aircraft entered service in 2023 with FIVE Hotels and Resorts.
The Lineage 1000E was Embraer's bizliner conversion of the E190 regional jet, offering five cabin zones, an optional master bedroom with shower and a 4,600 nm range. Only about 30 Lineage aircraft were built, and the 1000E variant with its head-up display and Fly Embraer service package represents the final and most capable configuration.
