KlasJet wins FAA approval for U.S. charter and wet-lease work
KlasJet received FAA Part 129 operations specifications, clearing the private jet and charter provider to fly U.S. ACMI and charter operations with Boeing 737NGs.
- FAA Part 129 approval reported September 25, 2026
- Covers flights to, from and within U.S. territory
- KlasJet plans ACMI and charter work with Boeing 737NG aircraft
- Company already held DOT, TSA and CBP approvals
- Targets seasonal peaks and airline capacity shortfalls
KlasJet has received FAA Part 129 operations specifications, allowing the Avia Solutions Group company to operate U.S.-related ACMI and charter flying. The approval covers foreign air carrier operations to, from and within U.S. territory.
The company plans to use Boeing 737NG aircraft for wet-lease and charter work. AIN reported that KlasJet already had U.S. Department of Transportation, Transportation Security Administration and Customs and Border Protection approvals, making the FAA step the final regulatory piece.
This sits at the edge of private aviation, but it matters. Large-cabin charter and airline-style private flying increasingly overlap when sports teams, tour groups, companies and carriers need temporary lift. In plain terms, KlasJet can now sell U.S. capacity without waiting on the core approval it previously lacked.
