Jet card rates fall to lowest average since late 2023
North American jet card rates averaged $10,958 per hour in Q3, down 3.1% from Q2 and 2.7% from a year earlier, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons.
- Average Q3 rate: $10,958 per hour
- Down 3.1% from Q2 2026
- Down 2.7% year over year
- Turboprops fell 19.9% from Q2 to $5,022 per hour
- Rates remain 23.7% above pre-pandemic levels
Jet card pricing softened in the third quarter, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons data reported by AIN. The North American average fell to $10,958 per hour, the lowest level since the end of 2023.
The drop was uneven. Turboprops showed the steepest fall, down 19.9% from the previous quarter to $5,022 per hour, while very light jets and large-cabin jets also moved lower. Even after the decline, average rates were still 23.7% above pre-pandemic levels.
For private flyers, this is a sign of a cooler and more competitive charter-card market, not a full return to 2019 pricing. Short trips may not feel much cheaper either, because daily minimums rose to 95 minutes, which can push up the effective cost of quick hops.
