Business jet buyers pay premiums as late-model supply tightens
Guardian Jet launched a new market-intelligence tool showing that buyers are still paying extra for the right late-model business jets. Its data set spans 25 years and is being shown at NBAA-BACE 2026.

- Third-quarter 2026 data shows premiums for sought-after late-model jets
- Launch tied to NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas
Guardian Jet has launched Guardian Intelligence, a market-data product inside its Vault client portal. The brokerage and analytics firm says the tool draws on 25 years of proprietary aircraft information, including its dynamic market survey.
The fresh third-quarter 2026 data points to a familiar pressure in the used-jet market: buyers are willing to pay more when a late-model aircraft is available now and fits the mission. That is especially relevant while new-aircraft backlogs remain long and clean, young used jets are hard to find.
For would-be owners, the message is that sticker prices do not tell the whole story. Availability, maintenance status, cabin condition and delivery timing can move the real price. In a tight market, the fastest path to a jet can carry its own premium.
