Teterboro tops weekly U.S. private jet airport ranking
AeroPattern’s weekly business aviation ranking put Teterboro, New Jersey, at number one for the week of Sept. 7 to Sept. 13. The airport logged 3,190 business aviation arrivals and departures, according to filed flight plans and ADS-B data.
Westchester County Airport followed with 1,452 movements, and Dallas Love Field was third with 1,261. The gap is striking: Teterboro handled more than double Westchester’s activity for the week.
The result is a reminder that New York’s private aviation system runs on reliever airports, not JFK or LaGuardia. Teterboro remains the main private jet doorway to Manhattan, and its weekly count shows how concentrated high-end corporate and charter traffic can be around one metro-area airport.
