Since 2017 Apple's board has required Tim Cook to use private aircraft for all travel, personal included, 'in the interests of security and efficiency', and its proxy statements disclose the cost each year (about $767,000 in 2022). Steve Jobs was famously given a Gulfstream V by Apple's board in 1999 as a thank-you for returning to the company.
Nike Inc.
Gulfstream G650ER · $65M reported
Nike's Gulfstream is famous with plane-spotters for its shoebox-orange livery: an Air Max profile on the tail, track spikes painted under the wings and the original Air Pegasus on the winglets. The 2019 G650ER replaced a G550 that wore the same registration, a nod to the company's 1972 founding year.

Walmart runs one of corporate America's largest flight departments from Rogers, Arkansas, reported at around a dozen jets dominated by Learjets that ferry store executives to towns with little airline service. The practice dates to founder Sam Walton, who piloted his own light aircraft to scout store sites.
Netflix Inc.

Netflix made headlines in 2022 with a corporate flight-attendant job posting paying up to $385,000, and in 2025 a spike in its jet activity was reported days before its bid for Warner Bros. Its fleet is reported to average about four flights a day, led by a Gulfstream G550.
NetJets (Berkshire Hathaway)

The world's largest private-jet operator, NetJets grew from 163 aircraft when Berkshire bought it in 1998 to more than 800 by late 2025, taking roughly 100 new deliveries a year. Its fractional model, launched in 1986, lets owners buy as little as a one-sixteenth share of a jet.
