Named after Usmanov's father and registered with his initials, the four-engined A340 was reported to have cost $238 million plus about $170 million in fit-out, making it one of the most expensive private aircraft ever. It was deregistered from the Isle of Man in March 2022 after sanctions and was last tracked in Tashkent.
Roman Abramovich

Abramovich's earlier 767-300ER earned the nickname 'The Bandit' for its Zorro-mask paint around the cockpit; the 787-8 that replaced it in 2021 kept the look and was reported to cost around $350 million after completion. In 2022 a US federal judge authorised the seizure of the 787 and a G650ER under sanctions, though the aircraft were beyond US reach.
Mukesh Ambani (Reliance)

India's first BBJ MAX 9 arrived in August 2024 after a completion in Switzerland, with the total reported at about $150 million. The Reliance fleet has also included an Airbus ACJ319, two Dassault Falcon 900EXs, a Global 6000 and a Global Express, making it one of Asia's largest family-controlled corporate fleets.
Bernard Arnault (LVMH)

LVMH sold its Global 7500 in 2022 after French Twitter accounts such as 'I Fly Bernard' began publicising every flight, with Arnault saying that by renting jets 'no one can see where I go'. The episode helped push the French jet-tracking and private-jet-tax debate into the mainstream. He had earlier flown a Dassault Falcon 7X.

Musk also operates two Gulfstream G550s and was reported to have ordered a G700 in 2022. The jet's public tracking led to a 2022 policy change on Twitter/X that banned real-time location sharing.

Playboy took its all-black DC-9 straight from the factory in 1969 for $5.5 million, with a white bunny on the tail, a discotheque and an oval bed in Hefner's rear salon. Flight attendants known as 'Jet Bunnies' were trained by Continental. It was sold to a Venezuelan airline in 1975 and ended its days flying passengers for Aeromexico.
Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway)

After years of mocking executives for their corporate jets, Buffett bought a used Falcon 20 for $850,000 in 1986 and named it 'The Indefensible' (Charlie Munger had proposed 'The Aberration'). He later traded up and renamed the jet 'The Indispensable', then bought the whole of NetJets in 1998 for $725 million.

Dassault Falcon 7X
Branson's Virgin Group flew a Falcon 900EX nicknamed 'Galactic Girl' for years before selling it to Max Verstappen in 2020; he is now reported to use a Falcon 7X. His aircraft collection has also included a Falcon 50EX and, of course, the Virgin Galactic mothership.
