Honeywell sees 14,000 business aircraft deliveries in 10 years
Honeywell Aerospace’s 2026 outlook calls for about 9,950 business jets and 4,200 turboprops to be delivered over the next decade. It expects annual new-aircraft deliveries to rise from 1,280 in 2026 to more than 1,500 by 2035.
- Forecast released October 20, 2026 at NBAA-BACE
- 9,950 business jet deliveries projected over 10 years
- 4,200 turboprops included in the forecast
- Total fleet growth projected at about 29%
- Annual delivery value expected to reach $37 billion
Honeywell Aerospace used NBAA-BACE week to publish its 35th annual business aviation forecast, and this year’s version widened the lens. For the first time, the outlook includes personal jets such as the Cirrus Vision Jet and business turboprops, not only traditional business jets.
The headline number is about 14,000 business aircraft deliveries over 10 years: 9,950 jets and 4,200 turboprops. Honeywell also sees 1,280 new-production aircraft deliveries in 2026, rising to more than 1,500 a year by 2035, with annual value estimated at $37 billion.
For private flyers, the forecast points to a larger and busier fleet, not a retreat after the pandemic-era boom. It also matters to everyone around the airplane: FBOs, maintenance shops, avionics installers, fuel suppliers and charter operators all plan staffing and investment around these long delivery cycles.
