Honda Aircraft Company

Honda Aircraft Company was established in 2006 in Greensboro, North Carolina, to commercialize the HondaJet concept that Michimasa Fujino had developed over two decades of research. The HA-420 entered service in 2015 with its distinctive over-the-wing engine mounts and GE Honda HF120 engines, and the current Elite II has been the most-delivered very light jet for several years with over 250 HondaJets in service. The company is now developing the larger HondaJet Echelon light jet, which is intended to fly in 2026 and enter service in 2028.
