Textron Aviation Citation Excel/XLS

The Citation Excel married a shortened Citation X fuselage with a straight wing and PW545 engines to create the most successful midsize jet of its generation, later updated as the XLS with more thrust and Honeywell Primus 1000 avionics. Nearly 700 Excels and XLSs were delivered, and the type remains a charter workhorse valued for its stand-up cabin and short-field ability.

In short: The Textron Aviation Citation Excel/XLS is a Midsize Jet with a range of 1,850 nm, a cruise speed of 433 knots and room for 8 passengers. Pre-owned examples trade around $2.5M–$5M and costs roughly $2,200 an hour to operate (estimate).
