The CitationJet entered service in 1993 as an all-new single-pilot light jet with a T-tail and Williams FJ44 turbofans. It became the CJ1 with Collins Pro Line 21 avionics in 2000 and the CJ1+ with FADEC-controlled FJ44-1AP engines in 2005, and the design continues today as the Citation M2.
